Hall of Shame - The F.A.Q imposter

Hello and welcome to Hall of Shame!

Today I came across to check out the european forums of RaiderZ and appreciate that I have some viewers reading my blog.
However when I looked at the F.A.Q which got stickied, I noticed that this person has been lying and stealing content from my FAQ that I've written for the RaiderZ NA community/forums.

Photobucket

This person got banned for some reason which doesn't bother me anymore but he earned a spot on my hall of shame as we all know that I do not write important stuff together with someone and that I'm a solo player, a person that doesn't even know this bulgarian person that seems to be my "friend". Remember guys, I do all my work alone, forum posts/threads and everything that has been written on this blog and everything else in loli-raiderz.blogspot.com. So shame on you mister!

RaiderZ - One year of gaming

First of all, it's only a few days untill March which means Happy Anniversary for all Alpha players!

I'd like to share this video that and hopefully you guys enjoy it. Not the best quality of video, too lazy to edit.
I'm probably one of the elder in RaiderZ that has been annoying, hated, liked etc. And this is my appreciation to the community for all the great time!

I hope to see some old faces again in RaiderZ!

Your sincerely

Revamped Loli's Cleric/Sorcerer Lv 40 Build

31 Cleric / 7 Sorcerer Build Photobucket Photobucket

-Change log-

Reason: With this build, we manage to have two strong recovery skills that recovers our EP. Meditation and Blessing:Concentration. consider that we still have level 1 heal but that could be changed to level 3 if you prefer lower cooldown on the heal. We won't have maxed Blessing:Swiftness nor Salvage maxed out on this build as I don't find them necessary to be maxed out.

Added: 2 Magic Mastery, 1 Flame Impact, 1 Meditation

Skill points leftover: 2
Skill choices: +2 Heal (Don't like to have 5 second cooldown? This is your chance now to get lv 3 heal as your EP must be higher at this point that 100 EP shouldn't bother you anymore).
Or you can get +1 uplift and +1 Storm of judgement, anything that fits your style.

Revamped Loli's Cleric/Sorcerer Lv 35 Build

31 Cleric 3 Sorcerer
This build is based on support, not a healbot but more of a dps/supportive class that makes solo and party more fun to play. We get 3 sorcerer spells that are instant and has high damage when it comes to magical spells. However our Heal is level 1 which has a 5 second cooldown but only consumes 50 EP which is quite helpful if you plan on lasting longer. No need to go higher unless you want lower cooldown which is for lv 40 build choices. You will have 1 SP leftover which is your own choice, however take a look on my lv 40 build for the extra SP being used.

Edit: Do not learn the sorcerer spell untill lv 32-35 as you want to have all your cleric skills ASAP. They sorcerer spells are only used to unlock Meditation for lv 40 build
PhotobucketPhotobucket

Tier 1
Hammer of Light This is your default skill, leave it at level 1 to unlock next hammer skill & Links of Light.
Divine punishment Lv 5, maxing this skill will help out for later levels with solo. This skill has most increased damage per level.
Divine Mastery Max it, the best passive for cleric.
Rapid Blasts Lv 1 is enough, a good skill to go solo and be supportive with DPS.
Ice Arrow Lv 1 is also good enough so you can do triple hit with Ice Thorns or pull enemies.
Ice Thorns Lv 1 is enough, we focus on cone damage and sub zero effect here including the extra hit with ice arrow. Look further at lv 40 build for more information of Hybrid.

Tier 2
Focused Strike Leave this at 1 as it recovers EP and uses SP and great for skill combo if you solo.
Heal Leave this at lv 1 as you only want to spend 50 EP per heal. However your choice if you want to get it to level 3 later on at lv 40 build. (Remember that heal is an AoE spell. Don't waste the skill by healing one target only)
Blessing Endurance Max it, this is the only skill that increases total health.

Tier 3
Hammer of Judgement Lv 1 is just needed for the links of light unlock.
Circle of Punishment Lv 1 is enough, not a big difference on maxing it. It shares cooldown with Circle of Healing.
Mind training Level 1 is enough for the proc chance.

Tier 4
Healing Strike Lv 1 is enoughto heal a party member within 3 meters. This skill uses Stamina.
Circle of healing Lv 1 is enough for now. Need the points for other skills. Look at lv 40 Build. It shares cooldown with Circle of Punishment.
Blessing Concentration Max it, this skill lowers the cooldown by 2 minute at max level as it regenerates party members EP and yourself.

Tier 5
Links of Light Lv 1 is all we need, we aren't offensive but this is a support/DoT skill.
Miraculous recovery Lv 1 is enough, max lvl heals you 50% while lv 1 is 40%.

Crystal of Life Lv 1 is enough, a good healing skill for emergency while having regular heal on cooldown.

Tier 6
Whirlpool of light Cleric's evasive skill, Max it everyone will need an evasive/escape skill. This also removes immobilization.
Salvage Your instant Emergency heal. Leave it at lv 1, it cost too much and has a cooldownof 3 minutes. Used only for emergency.
Blessing Swiftness Level 1, You can't max it yet, however a good movement speed and increase attack speed buff. Not necessary to max out but always good to have one.

Tier 7
Miracle:Combat Resurrection Lv 1 is enough for the feature of ressurecting a player.

Your character, your build

Hello!

I'm Sixrax from Chimera known as Loli from previous stages and today I've decided that I should post something that isn't relevant about best build etc. But more like a thought on builds and your character.

I'd like to give credit to oroness for understanding the meaning of playing the character that you like and good with.

Photobucket

The reason

Now, this might sound crazy but everyone on the forums are basically PvP players that seeks out the best build as possible for their character to perform well in PvP but also in PvE at certain circumstances. I find this annoying that players doesn't understand that your character is your own unique hero with it's own unique build.
It's no one's build to begin with, but you all seek for some guidance that should help you perform well in solo or groups. However, will you regret it if you haven't tried out all classes out? That's where the money or time will be spent on either using re-skill or creating a new character.
I'd like to mention that this game is not all about skill builds, I've got lot's of comments saying that my Defender/Sorcerer build is bad because of these following reasons:

1. It's bad for PvP
2. You don't have any knockback/knockdown/stun skills
3. You don't have the crit skill (Strike of Ruin)
4. You can't kill bosses fast
5. You don't have self heal (cleric's revitalize)

As many of you know, the builds and skills aren't suppose to be meant for all player, some players play well with certain builds and some doesn't. I don't want to criticise others builds but there are some point as I've tried to explain to others that, it's not necessary to have certain skills. But of course the players are so fed up with the PvP aspect that makes them itchy on their fingers to tell me that my own character/build that it's not good in this game.
Considering that I've been making solo videos and other videos aswell as streaming while playing without any problem with my build as I can tank and survive longer shows that, my 1 year of experience with RaiderZ (Almost anniversary for Alpha players that played since March) has not only the knowledge but also the "skills" to perform equally as other players that goes with the same build on the forums.
The reason why I stopped posting on forums is personal issues, I've started my own blog and of course it gets a bit lonely with a few comments below, but atleast people have read them and I hope it will affect some of them aswell you guys reading this, that your character, your build, there is nothing is wrong with it if you can play well with it.

Extra information

Just a side note to everyone that wonders about my build, I'm a PvE player, I'm probably playing my own build (even though people say I copy from Korean player which still doesn't mean it's the persons build). I still do well in Duels, it's all about how you perform with your character. But I do agree that the more active skills you've unlocked, the more combo you will unleash.
I've posted my builds up on my blog, i've shared it on the forums, it's up to you if you want to follow it or make some changes. I've given information on how I plan on my skill build works out and you should be aware that I do lack of skills that works for crowd control/PvP. But here's my opinion on how I see classes and that certain players doesn't need to have all skills to perform well in party as long as you can work it together.

Point of view

People's view of classes

Defender - Tank/Crowd control
Berserker - Dps/Crowd control
Cleric - Healer/Support
Sorcerer - Dps/Nuker

My view of classes

Defender - All-around-class/Dps/High survivalbility
Berserker - Crowd control/Combo attack
Cleric - Support/Dps
Sorcerer - Crowd Control/Dps

Experience > Skill builds
The first thing you should do if you are a new player as oroness mentioned above, try out each classes. See with your own eyes testing the skills out. Try to find a mixture of skills that works well for your character. Don't be confused and force yourself to try out other players build if you don't like it or don't know how they work.
In the old days, my level 1 on each skill build was pretty much a solid build for testing. Not only that it worked well in PvP and PvE, it gave me a better view on how my class works. Not all players has the thoughts of survivalbility anymore as they only focus on Damage.

Don't forget that you know have access to skill calculators (links at end of post), it gives you advantage to plan out your build for the future. But don't hesitate that your build might be bad, others players may share their experience on how everything is build up but have they tried it out? I am not your slave that tries out skills and lose my time and money on reskill or creating my character again just so that you can play and then decide that my build was bad. Remember, we all had to work ourself to cap level, and try out all skills and become familiar with the class. Do not let players to just take the easy way and then become angry and say that your build was bad because it didn't work for them.

Remember that all skills works well in different situation. If you plan on going all supportive skills then feel free to do that. If you're asking me how your build looks like, I'm actually just going avoid most of the questions as I don't want to give my opinions on skills that should be removed or added to your own build.

Conclusion
Some may now wonder why I bash on other players thoughts on each class and builds because they might think I only got experience with defender and thinks that I've only played as a Defender. From my record of RaiderZ, I've played all classes and made my own perspective of builds for each class to demonstrate how my characters would be if they were created, but unfortunately those characters were whiped.
So to summit everything, don't judge other's builds, this is not a rant but more of an announcement of the important things you need to be aware.
As the title says: Your character, your build

You should show more confident on your own character and build, remember that there will always be someone better than you but that shouldn't stop you from trying to pursuit that goal to be better than others. In PvE aspects then you shouldn't be bothered about this as you just need to know your role in the party and to be social with your party members.

I want to thank you for reading this big post of my thoughts and thank everyone that found my blog useful and that you all should focus on yourself than comparing to other and their character/builds. Practice and experience always have a good result.

High Health Gear

So after testing two type of gears (STR and VIT), I finally decided to go with more health.
Now this is something that I'm countering myself as I've said before about no tanking in this game, but the reason why you only needed STR was for bosses like Viva, but otherwise it's all personal choices if you plan on killing fast etc.

My choices for health gear:

* You survive longer
* It's more safe to solo
* Your "comeback" skill heals more
* You get to have most health ingame as the other classes doesn't focus on health.
* You can reach up to 8526 health at lv 35 without buffs.
* At level 40 your max health is around 15000 health as some bosses can hit you up to 3-6k.
* You play different from most players.

This is how much health I got for now, and the reason why I don't have 8000 health is because of my gems.
Photobucket

How to achieve high health

* Get the quetzal armor set (not the life but the original due to higher defense bonus compare to small additional health on life set)
* Get the Mournful Longsword of Life and Mournful Shield of Life (Catacomb weapon/shield)
* Upgrade each piece of gear to +5 for safe upgrade and maximum health. (go +9 if you want more health)
* Socket Great Emerald of Warrior's Vitality on each piece of gear (7x) (Obtainable from Great Emerald Box which is crafted at Rietz with Evidence of Deep Faith dropped in Epic Monastery by bosses).

Advice and tips:

1 Vitality = 10 Health
Full STR set vs Full VIT set (200-300 more dmg vs 2828 more health)
Emerald of Vitality vs Great Emerald of Warrior's Vitality (70 health vs 104 health)
